I hate starting a new job!

Well, I am off today thank goodness! My brain is so sore. There is so much information that I am having to learn with this new job. The hardest so far has been learning the computer and the Coast way. Why can't I just clean teeth and teach my patients the proper way to care for their teeth. Not while I am with Coast Dental. I have to input all of the treatment plans for the patients and use all of the Coast and ADA codes. I have 6 pages of cheat sheets. It takes me forever to get everything into the computer just to present to the patient. I have to have them agree to the treatment before I can start. I know in time things will get easier and I will get faster. But right now I am a mess.

As far as Toby, we have been moved to a new class. I am not exactly thrilled about this but I will stick with it and see where it goes. The reason I was moved is because one class had too many students and the other did not have enough. Since Toby is learning not to zoom, the instructors decided that we need to be around new dogs. I have not had time to get to know the instructor very well. She seems very nice and is partial to large Shelties. We have only been to one of her classes. I had to miss yesterday because of work. The first class did not go over very well with me. One student got mad because he could not hear over his barking dog. There were several other dogs barking. Come to find out they were barking at me playing with Toby. During class I will bring out a toy and play with Toby to keep his attention. The other dogs did not like that and neither did the other students. So I will attend some more classes and see where it takes us.

Back to cleaning the house. Since I have been working the house work has all but gone away. However, last weekend Dave and I went shopping. Yeah! I can spend money now! I bought new two inch white blinds for the living room. It was the only room that did not have blinds and the curtains were awful. I also bought scarfs to wrap around the curtain rods and they look great. We also bought a medicine cabinet with a mirror and a white cabinet to hang over the toilet for the guest bathroom. And we bought a white cabinet to hang in the master bath. I think Dave will be putting them up this weekend. I also bought a huge area rug for the living room. White carpet, dog, and GA red clay just doesn't mix well. I am hoping that the area rug will help camouflage the dirty white carpet. We'll just have to see.
